We recently surveyed 5,500 Planning Engineers to see what they thought of Oracle's recent acquisition of  Primavera - the leading supplier of project planning software.

Why we conducted the survey

There are over 2,500,000 licensed copies of Primavera being used throughout the world today. This means that Oracle's acquisition could have a big impact on the planning market. As a leading planning recruitment consultancy, we wanted to understand what our candidates felt about the takeover.

The results

The survey highlighted a number of things relating to real planners views on the acquisition, and Primavera in general. For instance, planners feel that Primavera is relied on too much, but that's due to the fact that it's the best on the market.
